A deeply heartfelt, expressive series reflecting a personal chapter of difficulty in letting go.

You know the part that is always hard before something gets better? The situation and the unknowing about whats around the corner. The intensity of the moment feels unbearable but you have to move through it despite the clutching and hoping.

It was about freeing myself from both real and perceived attachments. Through a play of solid colour and light, hazy glazes, lines that connect and seperate spaces, the works explore a push and pull between what to keep and what to let go of to create a balance.
