This piece (from the collection ‘Little Stories Everywhere’) tells of a memory.
Walls keep us protected AND they keep us trapped. Rapunzel probably being one of my most memorable tales. This piece shows the expanse of freedom beyond the walls. The intuitive layers of acrylic paint, glazes and graphite, create a piece that has a vintage aesthetic and neutral from afar, and yet intense, and deeply detailed close-up.
