This piece (from the collection ‘Little Stories Everywhere’) tells of a memory. I went to a friend’s birthday party at home. From the street, all seemed quiet, but once in the garden, the dense follage, moody lights and live music provided an electric atmosphere. The intuitive layers of acrylic paint, glazes and graphite, have produced a form that is instantly recognizable. We’ve all looked across the silhouettes of an exciting and enjoyable evening.
