In June 2023, I took part in a most wonderful, fun exhibition. Monet in Paris - The French Impressionist Alive. I hosted painting classes and taught visitors to paint the ‘Waterlilies’. Turning up to Hamilton Nth Shore every day was fun. Seeing the mismatch of buildings, containers, and green spaces by the edge of the Brisbane River.
The intuitive layers of acrylic paint, glazes and graphite, make up for an ever-revealing artwork that holds a vintage & neutral aesthetic from afar. Yet has an intense, and deeply detailed interest close-up.
Finished with a beautiful, natural, Tasmanian Oak finish and ready-to-hang.
